Two expatriates injured in pickup truck accident

Two expatriate men are being treated for injuries sustained in a pickup truck accident while traveling from Male' to Hulhumale', police said.

According to police, the accident occurred at 2:42 am. near the airport bridge lights, when the pickup lost control and collided with the central divider.

Both the driver and another expatriate passenger were injured in the crash and are receiving treatment.

Police said the pickup and the divider sustained significant damage.

The driver’s license has been seized, and the vehicle was towed as part of the investigation.
