"Mihaaru"s Muizzu obtains Qasim Ibrahim Award in law course

Mihaaru News' Managing Editor Muzzu Ibrahim received the Qasim Ibrahim Award for Excellence last night for his high distinction in a course at Villa College.

Muizzu, who has been a journalist for 15 years, placed first in the Shariah and Law Degree (Bachelors) course.

The award was given to Muizzu by Villa College Rector, Dr. Ahmed Anwar.

The award is given to those who get distinctions and above in all modules in degree courses and above.

Muizzu, who is experienced in writing news and reports pertaining to the law industry, also represented Mihaaru News in the Maldives Media Council.

Moreover, he has won the award for Judicial and Legal Journalism the most number of times.
