A fire incident has occurred near Barcelo Nasandhura.
Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said that the fire broke out in a pile of garbage on the east side of Barcelo Nasandhura.
The the blaze has since been extinguished and no injuries were reported, MNDF said.
At the time of receiving the first reports, the fire was said to have broken out at Nasandhura; however, the building itself was not affected.
