Mujuthaz appointed to JSC

Civil Service Commission (CSC) President Mohamed Mujuthaz has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

Civil Service Commission (CSC) President Mohamed Mujuthaz has been appointed as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). 

Supreme Court Judge Mohamed Saleem administered the oath at a ceremony held at the President's Office this morning. 

The letter of appointment was then handed over to Mujuthaz by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu. 

Mujuthaz is sitting on the JSC as CSC President, the President's Office said. 

Three of the ten members of the JSC are appointed by the parliament. These are Parliament Speaker, an MP appointed by the parliament, and a member from the public. 

The remaining seven members are a member from the President, Attorney General, CSC President, a member from lawyers and three judges from the three levels of courts.
