Former First Lady Nasreena in hospital

Former First Lady Nasreena Ibrahim, wife of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, is currently receiving treatment at Dharumavantha Hospital, Maumoon's Office confirmed. 

In a statement issued by the office, they stated that Nasreena has been admitted at the hospital since last week to receive treatment for an infection. It further stated that Nasreena's condition is now improving. 

The statement expressed gratitude to the hospital's doctors and nurses for their compassionate care during Nasreena's treatment. 

The statement also expressed heartfelt thanks to the public and well-wishers for their prayers and messages, which brought comfort to the family.
