Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has begun the process of handing over keys to recipients of flats built under the Gedhoruveriyaa scheme in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
In a post on X, FDC announced that key collection has now started with details being made available through its online portal. Recipients will be notified via SMS of their scheduled time to collect the keys, and can also track the process through the portal.
The handover for residents of Amaan Udhares Tower 14 began today. FDC is developing 4,000 housing units across 32 towers, each 17–18 storeys high, in Hulhumale' Phase 2. The corporation said most of the work is now complete.
Keys will be issued to recipients who have signed their flat agreements and paid the required security deposit through the portal. To date, more than 3,000 recipients have signed agreements.
The Gedhoruveriyaa flats, constructed by two Indian companies, include two- and three-bedroom units.
- Two-bedroom flats: MVR 7,000 monthly rent, MVR 1,000 maintenance fee, and MVR 15,000 security deposit.
- Three-bedroom flats: MVR 9,500 monthly rent, MVR 1,500 maintenance fee, and MVR 25,000 security deposit.
FDC said the flats will be handed over progressively as each tower is completed and deposits are cleared.
