NDMA said that the damages caused to the six houses are being assessed, and arrangements are being made to provide assistance in collaboration with the Addu City Council.
An NDMA official said that the ward office and MNDF are working on repairing the roofs of these houses. Residents of these houses also need temporary shelter and meal arrangements, they said.
