Four K-Park apartments to be handed over within 30 days

The Civil Court has ruled that the four K-Park apartments that were sold are to be handed over to the purchaser within 30 days.

Many individuals have submitted lawsuits to the court, accusing the company responsible for the sales of K-Park apartments that they have not handed the apartments over to them after purchase. The investigation regarding these claims are ongoing. 

Accusations have been made against Hanbo Company shareholder Hassan Mamdhooh (Mandey) that he has been forging signatures, selling one apartment to multiple interested parties and scamming the company out of the money he made selling the apartment for personal use. The Prosecutor General's Office has also filed charges against Mamdhooh.

Due to the money from the apartment sales not reaching Hanbo Company, they are refusing to abide by their contract and are not giving the apartments to the individuals who bought them. Some of the said individuals have filed a lawsuit with the Civil Court to get the apartments.

The Civil Court ruled in favor of Ali Adam's lawsuit. It states that according to the agreement between Hanbo Company and Ali Adam, the four apartments are to be handed over to him. And so, the court has ruled that the apartments are to go to Ali Adam within 30 days.

If the apartments are not handed over, the lawsuit states that the money is to return to the rightful owner, a total sum of MVR 2.9 million within 30 days.

Hanbo Company has not claimed responsibility regarding the lawsuit. The court concluded their ruling without the company present.

Hanbo Company has received a verdict from the Civil Court in the past regarding the handover of K-Park apartments.
