The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has appealed to the public to avoid diving or parking boats in certain areas, as active dredging work is currently underway.

In a recent announcement, HDC explained that a contractor’s dredger is operating 24/7 as part of the RasMale Dredging Project. The vessel is moving between designated borough areas, specifically removing sand from sites C and E.

To help ensure public safety, HDC has also released a detailed map showing where the dredger will be operating and the route it will follow.

The corporation is urging all seafarers and visitors to review the map and steer clear of the marked zones. These areas are not safe for diving or anchoring while the work is in progress.

HDC emphasized the importance of staying alert and prioritizing safety for everyone in the area.
