Confident that promises made will be fulfilled: President

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated today that the developmental promises pertaining to islands are being made with the confidence that they'll be fulfilled.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stated today that the developmental promises pertaining to islands are being made with the confidence that they'll be fulfilled. 

President Muizzu is currently visiting islands in Haa Dhaalu Atoll. Upon his visit to Kurinbi today, he stated during his speech at the meeting that presidential pledges have been made during the election campaign and afterwards as well.

The President went on to say that he is confident that all his pledges will be realized within his term and that it is his top priority.

"During the election campaign and even after it, I have made numerous promises concerning this island's development. I made those promises with intention and determination, with full confidence that the work will get done," said President Muizzu.

The President went on to say that progress is being made concerning the projects related to Kurinbi, and the work will proceed as per the residents wishes.

He also said that along with the work being done for a harbor, all other projects will also see progress. Projects such as making the canal a usable area, a place for people to swim, a slipway for boats and as a part two to the harbor project, to increase the amount of boulder rocks are set to go underway, said the President.

The President also stated that costs of other projects will go down as the harbor is being build, with work seeing quick completion. He has also given his assurance that, upon completion and installation of all resources at the new building for the health center, it will be made a 24-hour service.
