Shamy appointed as RDC chairman again

Former Road Development Corporation (RDC) Chairperson Mohamed Shamy Adam has been appointed for the position once again.

Shamy was let go of the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) from his Chairman position on 27th April.

Shamy's reinstatement as RDC Chairman was announced today.

The reason for his dismissal from PCB is unknown.

However, it is known that Shamy joined PCB after being let go from the SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC).

Shamy was once again hired as RDC Chairperson as former RDC Managing Director Ali Zuhair left to become Managing Director at the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).

The RDC MD position will be filled up by former Construction Ministry's State Minister Ibrahim Nazeem.
