President leaves for two day AA Atoll visit

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has left for an AA. Atoll visit early this morning and will be covering all islands in the atoll.

The President's first stop will be AA. Himandhoo. He will be visiting Maalhos, Feridhoo and Mathiveri today. Tonight's meeting will be held at Mathiveri.

Appointments have been set where the President will be meeting with island councils, women's rights committees and various leaders of island associations. The President's Office has also stated that the President will be inaugurating projects that are set to begin in certain islands as well, along with inaugurating projects that have ended and are set to open up to the public.

The President's Office has said that this is one of a series of visits pledged by President Muizzu, where he would visit islands to meet with its residents.

Along with the President, various ministers and leaders of government companies will also be visiting.

The President's most recent visit was to Baa Atoll. It took place from 11th to 14th August, with a total of 13 islands visited.
