Woman who suffered injuries from Gan accident passes away

A woman who suffered injuries from an accident that occurred last month at L. Gan has passed away while receiving treatment.

The accident occurred on 6th July around 9 am, where a motorbike that was travelling from L. Fonadhoo to Gan had collided with a streetlight. Two women were injured in the incident.

One of the two women had recovered from their injuries, with the other being transported to IGMH upon her injuries worsening. She passed away today whilst receiving treatment, as per the IGMH media official.

Sources say that the individual hails from K. Guraidhoo.
