A dinghy travelling to Kaafu atoll Guraidhoo capsized last night. Police rescued all seventeen people on board.
A Police Media Official said that the dinghy, which was travelling near Zamaani Island Resort, had been carrying seventeen expatriates. They confirmed that all seventeen individuals had been rescued after the dinghy capsized.
Three of the seventeen people swam to Zamaani Island.
Speedboats from Kaafu Atoll Police and nearby resorts helped in the rescue.
