President designates Ranfaru Lagoon as part of Maalhos

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu today designated Alifu Alifu Ranfaru Lagoon as part of Alifu Alifu Maalhos.

Following this decision, Ranfaru Lagoon has been officially designated as an inhabited island and is now administratively part of AA. Maalhos. The resolution also defines its official Dhivehi and English names.

The decision to designate Ranfaru as part of Maalhos fulfills a promise made by President Muizzu during his visit to the islands of the atoll last December, where he met with the Maalhos Council and the Women's Development Committee.
