President’s Office has re-opened applications for membership of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), as the terms of three current members near expiry.

Applications were initially opened on 6 July, with a deadline set for 20 July. However, the opportunity has now been re-announced, with a new application window open from today until 12 pm on 12 August.

The reason for the reannouncement has not been stated.

The outgoing members are CSC Chairperson Mohamed Nasih, Mohamed Farushath, and Fathimath Shareef. All three were appointed to the commission on 2 September, 2020.
