94 people receive prizes for their long-term services to the state

Individuals who have served the state for more than 35 years received a Badge of Honor and the Shield of Honor during the celebration ceremony of Independence Day, presented by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

94 individuals have received prizes for their long-term services to the state.

Individuals who have served the state for more than 35 years received a Badge of Honor and the Shield of Honor during the celebration ceremony of Independence Day, presented by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

191 individuals will be honored for their long-term services to the state this year. Out of the 191, 94 have received the Badge of Honor and the Shield of Honor who have served the state for more than 40 years.

The remaining 97 individuals will receive their prizes during the official celebration ceremony of Republic Day, which will be given to individuals who have served the state between 35 to 39 years.

The people who receive said prizes are chosen via a committee set to oversee the relevant submitted forms and prizes.

This ceremony began during former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's administration in 2021.
