CCTV footage shows Yameen jumping off bridge, says Police

Police have said that they have obtained CCTV footage which shows Hassan Yameen, who went missing on July 11, jumping off the Sinamale' Bridge into the sea.

Police said that the CCTV footage shows Yameen, 30, G. Garnet, jumped off the bridge at around 3:24 am on July 13.

Police said that the information has been shared with Yameen's family, with the investigative team working closely with the family.

"In light of this information, Marine Police and Maldives National Defence Force's Coast Guard are working collaboratively to find Hassan Yameen," a statement issued by Police reads.

Police have urged the public to refrain from spreading misinformation regarding the case.
