Two arrested for prostitution from an Addu spa

Two individuals have been arrested on charges of prostitution from an establishment in Addu City that was being operated under a permit for a spa.

The establishment, named 'Thilinfaru Beauty Salon and Spa' was being operated in Meedhoo, Addu City.

Police reported that a raid conducted on suspicion of prostitution at the spa led to the arrest of two individuals.

The two arrested are Navaal Hussain, 25, Aabaadhee Manzil, S. Maradhoo, and a Thai national, Thaiyonlada Sukswang, 36.

When presented in court for their remand hearing, the two have been placed in remand in custody for fifteen days.
