Man reported missing in Male' still not found

A 30-year-old man who was reported missing in Male' on Monday evening has yet to be found, police said today.

Hassan Yameen, from G. Garnet, was declared missing at 11.15 pm last night. Police confirmed this morning that he remains not found.

According to police, Yameen was last seen leaving his residence in Malé at around 9.25 pm on Friday night. His family reported him missing at around 8.30 pm on Monday after being unable to contact him.

Police have urged the public for any information that may help locate him.

“Anyone with information about Hassan Yameen is asked to contact the police hotline at 332 2111 or Henveiru Police Investigation at 940 0053,” police said in a statement.
