Finance Ministry has announced that they are seeking a contractor to develop a quarantine facility at Kulhudhuffushi Hospital.
The ministry stated that a quarantine facility is to be set up at Kulhudhuffushi Hospital under the Covid 19 Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparedness Project being run through assistance from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
Interested parties can now submit bids.
The bid will carried out in line with construction regulations and the Foreign Direct Investment Policy, the ministry said.
A non-refundable registration fee of MVR 1,500 or USD 100 will be charged to participate in the bid. These payments will be accepted during office hours on all official working days until August 21, and can be paid through the Bandeyri Portal.
Prospective bidders must propose a bid security amounting to USD 26,500 or its equivalent in Maldivian Rufiyaa. The security must remain valid for 178 days from the date of bid opening.
The bid will be opened on August 25 at 1:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the National Tender Department, located within the Ministry of Finance.
