Five hired for MoE Deputy Superintendent role

Five individuals have been hired for Superintendent positions by the Ministry of Education to oversee school-based administrative matters. The highest ranking individual who will be overseeing these newly made roles has been named to be Ismail Saudulla.

Five individuals have been hired for Superintendent positions by the Ministry of Education to oversee school-based administrative matters.

The highest ranking individual who will be overseeing these newly made roles has been named to be Ismail Saudulla, who was hired last month (June).

The five individuals who have been chosen to work under Saudulla are:

1. Fazyan Yoosuf Fariq

2. Ahmed Faisal

3. Mohamed Nazim

4. Aminath Zeeniya

5. Ali Mufeed

The responsibilities of the superintendents are as follows:

1. Coming up with ways to increase the quality of the school as a whole and partaking in them

2. Recommendations for the National Curriculum

3. Drawing up the yearly budget

4. Maintaining the financial accounts of the Zone Office and the schools in the Zone

5. Ensure that there is an effective system in place to communicate effectively with everyone involved with schools

6. Ensuring the schools aren't lacking in any resources

Last month, the Minister of Education announced ongoing initiatives to enhance student performance and drive transformative changes within the current education system.

The minister also said that the school administration field will see the most changes once everything falls into place.
