Alia's Boat Operator training program concludes

The 11th Boat Operators Training program held at Maldives Institute of Technology (MIT) in collaboration with Alia has concluded with graduating trainees receiving their certificates.

The three-day program that ran from 1st July 2025 to 3rd July 2025 had various government institutions, resorts and marine transport companies in attendance as well.

Those who signed up for the program got the chance to gain the following knowledge:

1. Maritime law and regulations

2. Learning and making use of navigational charts

3. Safety protocols

4. Emergency first aid protocols

5. Fire safety

6. Outboard engine maintenance and repair knowledge

7. Practical experience on operating boats

Alia hosts this program once a year in collaboration with MIT, to ensure safety during maritime trips, safety protocols and increase the overall ability of boat operators in Maldives.

Along with the Boat Operators Training program, Alia also has other available programs such as the Yamaha Technical Training Program in collaboration with Yamaha Japan.

Alia is the authorized distributor of Yamaha engines in Maldives. The company also holds various similar trainings in collaboration with Yamaha.
