MET issues country-wide White Alert, warns of swell waves

MET Office has issued a White Alert across the country from 13:30 hrs to 17:00 hrs today, warning of swell wave surges.

Police have also appealed to the public to opt for four wheeled vehicles if travelling on the SinaMale' Bridge and highway during these hours.

MET Office also predicts heavy rains, thunderstorms, and windspeeds of 40 mph from HA. to ADh. atolls between 10:45 am and 4:30 pm today.
