Toddler seriously injured in Thoddoo motorcycle accident

A one-year-old child has been seriously injured after being struck by a speeding motorcycle in Alif Alif Thoddoo on Wednesday night.

Police said that they received reports of the accident involving the toddler, who is now in serious condition and receiving treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male'.

The motorcycle involved in the incident has been towed by police, but no arrests have been made so far.

Footage of the accident has circulated on social media, showing the child walking with three others before running into the road and being struck by a speeding motorcycle.
