Ministry of Education has announced that the award ceremony for the top 10 students in the 2022 and 2023 O’Level examinations will be held on June 21 and 22.

While the government had already presented the “Higher Achievers Award” to students who ranked in the world top 10 at last year’s A-Level award ceremony, a separate event for the top achievers of the 2022 and 2023 O’Level batches had not yet taken place.

The Ministry has now scheduled the O’Level top 10 awards for Saturday and Sunday. Students have been informed that rehearsals will take place over Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday ahead of the event.

The Ministry has not provided a reason for the delay in holding the award ceremonies for these two O’Level batches.

The A-Level examinations concluded last Wednesday, with 8,362 students sitting for the exams. Of these, 7,666 took the Cambridge IGCSE A-Level and 7,519 sat for the SSC exam.

The results for these examinations are expected to be released in August.
