President Muizzu meets Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has met with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday.

The meeting was held at Al-Mina Palace.

At the meeting, President Muizzu thanked the Saudi government for their hospitality and the services extended to Maldivian pilgrims.

The two leaders also discussed strengthening of bilateral relations between Maldives and Saudi Arabia and explored avenues to further strengthen ties between the countries.

Minister of Finance Moosa Zameer, Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel, Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation Abdulla Rafiu and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chief of Protocol Mohamed Shahudy accompanied the President at the meeting.

Saudi Arabia's Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mashal bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Defence Prince Khalid bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of National Guard Prince Abdulla bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior Affairs Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal also attended the meeting.

The President also attended the special meeting held for dignitaries who attended this year's Hajj pilgrimage.

This meeting was attended by leaders of various nations, special guests of the Saudi King, and leaders of Hajj missions of various nations.
