Make Eid a memorable and blessed celebration: President Muizzu

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has called on the Maldivian people to make each Eid a joyful and meaningful occasion, filled with blessings and heartfelt memories.

In his Eid al-Adha 1446 felicitations, shared on X and delivered during a formal address, the President extended warm Eid greetings to all citizens, encouraging unity and spiritual reflection during the holy celebration.

He emphasized the importance of nurturing spiritual values, promoting kindness, and strengthening relationships during Eid.

Highlighting the true essence of the festival, President Muizzu urged the public to focus on bringing happiness to elderly parents, enhancing neighborly and family bonds, and leading by example through moral conduct and generosity.

President Muizzu reaffirmed solidarity of the Maldivian people with the Palestinian cause, praying for blessings and peace for the people of Palestine. He drew upon the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, highlighting the enduring strength of unity among the Muslim Ummah.

President Muizzu concluded his message by praying for a peaceful, joyous, and blessed Eid al-Adha for all Maldivians, encouraging the nation to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and gratitude that defines the festival.
