Kulhudhuffushi City Council has donated MVR 100,000 to each of the three schools in the city this year as part of its annual school grant initiative.

The funding was awarded based on proposals submitted by the schools in response to a call for applications under the grant program.

Each school received MVR 100,000 to implement their proposed projects.

The three beneficiary schools are:

- Afeefudhin School

- Jalaaluddin School

- Haa Dhaalu Atoll Education Centre

The City Council also provided the same amount to each school last year.

According to the council, the grant is aimed at enhancing school facilities, supporting student development activities, and contributing to Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fundraising efforts for overall school improvement.
