Major power outage across Male', Hulhumale', VIA

Capital Male' City, Hulhumale' and Velana International Airport (VIA) are currently experiencing a power outage.

Services across the areas are affected with the complete black out.

STELCO said that a technical issue had let to the power interruption.

The company said that their team is now working to identify what caused the power outage, and to resolve the issue. However, STELCO is unable to say when electricity services will be restored.

STELCO has not yet revealed the reason for the power outage in Male', Hulhumale' and VIA.
