President Muizzu establishes state-owned infrastructure development company

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has formed a 100 percent state-owned company named "Infrastructure Development Solution Company Limited", through a Presidential Decree.

The company has now been established and published in the Government Gazette.

The company, created under the Companies Act, aims to accelerate infrastructure development across urban and rural areas of Maldives, aligning with the government’s economic policies.

According to the President's Office, the company will utilize modern technology and innovative tools for rock laying, casting, and related construction activities.

It has an authorized capital of MVR 100 million, divided into 10 million shares at MVR 10 each.

The company is a separate legal entity with the capacity to sue or be sued and operate under its own seal.
