Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened the opportunity for public feedback on the revised masterplan of Hulhumale'.
In a statement today, HDC said that the updated masterplan is now available for public review, with a dedicated online portal launched to facilitate access to all related information and allow individuals to submit feedback and ideas directly.
The deadline for submitting comments is June 16. HDC said the final version of the masterplan will be completed after taking public input into consideration.
The revisions to the masterplan focus on expanding the harbour area and enabling additional development opportunities in Hulhumale’.
The new masterplan was officially unveiled by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at a special ceremony held on Sunday.
Speaking at the launch event, HDC Managing Director Mauroof Jameel described the masterplan as a critical step in enhancing Hulhumale’ infrastructure and amenities to better serve its growing population.
HDC reiterated its commitment to inclusive development, stating that the corporation is consistently working to make Hulhumale' a modern and livable island city through public consultation and participation.
