Ex-husband and current partner of woman clash in public altercation

A fight broke out on Sunday afternoon between a woman's ex-husband and her current boyfriend in Hulhumale’.

According to police, the altercation occurred around 1:30 pm on Burevigas Magu.

Officers arrived at the scene in response to a report and found the two men engaged in a heated confrontation, which had also drawn in other family members.

One individual sustained a head injury and other minor wounds. Both men received treatment at the hospital and were later discharged, police said.

While the motive behind the altercation has not been disclosed, authorities have taken both men into custody.
