STELCO's regional SCADA wins in Maldives Expo 2025

STELCO's Regional SCADA has won first place in the Maldives Expo 2025 in the State Owned Enterprises category.

Regional SCADA refers to an integrated system which connects electricity services across 35 islands.

In a ceremony held at the Social Centre on Thursday night, STELCO Managing Director Hussain Fahmy was awarded the prize by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.

In a post on X, STLECO recognized that the award was achieved through the dedication and hardwork of its entire team.

The Regional SCADA offers extensive information about electricity services in many islands where STELCO provides electricity. The system includes information about the population, the size of the island, businesses on the island, development projects on the island and planned projects for the island.

This year's Maldives Expo sees over 300 participants. The expo will be open to public until the end of the month.
