A man has sustained a broken leg in a traffic accident involving two motorcycles and a stationary car on the Sinamale' Bridge on Wednesday night.
Police said the incident was reported at 9:48 pm, Wednesday. The collision occurred when two motorcycles crashed behind a car that had stopped on the bridge with its hazard lights on.
According to police, the car was stationary due to an issue and had its four-way indicators activated to signal an emergency or mechanical problem.
The accident unfolded when one motorcycle stopped behind the vehicle and another lost control, crashing into it. One of the riders suffered a broken leg and other injuries. Two other people were also injured in the incident.
All three are currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Police said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
