Immigration to recruit 50 new officer trainees ahead of VIA terminal opening

Maldives Immigration has announced seeking to recruit 50 new officer trainees as part of preparations for the upcoming opening of the new terminal at Velana International Airport (VIA).

The recruitment will be conducted through a one-day walk-in interview.

Immigration will disclose the interview date, time, and venue in a later announcement.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Minimum of two subjects with a "D" grade and at least a "C" in Dhivehi at O/L or A/L; or

- Completion of MNQF Level 3 Certificate

- Must be under 40 years of age at the time the application window closes

The move is part of the government’s effort to enhance Immigration services in time for the scheduled completion of the new VIA terminal by October this year.
