Family of Hawwa Yumn Rasheed have tonight stated that Yumn has told them that she did not fall from the building on her own.

Yumn was found fallen on the roof of a warehouse at H.Mitaaz on April 18. Police have said that she fell from a fanlight in the 9th floor stairwell of adjacent H. Fentenoy.

In a press conference held by Yumn's family tonight, her sister said that Yumn had told them that she did not fall on her own, and indicated that it was done to her by other persons.

Yumn is currently in Malaysia receiving further treatment for serious injuries sustained in the fall. Her condition is improving, with her having regained consciousness on May 4.

Yumn's sister also rejected Police's claims that H. Fentenoy was a random house that Yumn and Raudh Ahmed Zilal, who was accompanying her on the night of the incident, had entered.

Instead, it is a house that Yumnu has previously gone to in multiple instances, the family quoted her as saying.

Yumn's sister went on to say that Yumn had gone to H. Fentenoy on the night of the incident on invitation from an individual named Yassaar.

Police earlier named Yoosuf Yassaar Abdul Ghafoor of H. Meenaaz as one of the individuals who had been with Yumn earlier on the night of the incident.

Besides Yumnu, Raudh and Yassar, an additional four persons were also there that night, the family quoted Yumnu as telling them.

Yumn's sister said that Yumnu had confidently asserted that she had not fallen from the building on her own.

'The last thing Yumn said to me is... will there be justice? Are you sure justice will be served?"

Yumn's family also alleged that the Police investigation in to the case has many flaws in it, with the CCTV footage that they showed in a press conference also being heavily edited, misrepresenting events.

After having been found on the roof with severe injuries, Yumn was first treated in the Intensive Care Unit at IGMH. Later she was taken to Malaysia for additional treatment with partial funds from NSPA, and the remaining being raised from the public through social media fundraisers.

Raudh Ahmed Zilal remains under arrest. Police also earlier said that they have seized the phones of other individuals who were identified as accompanying Yumn earlier on the night of the incident, with travel bans also having been placed against them.

A Presidential Commission has also been formed on April 26 to investigate the case, with public criticism of the Police investigation mounting, alleging Police cover-ups and discrimination.

Youth have also been staging a series of protests demanding justice for Yumn.
