MNU signs agreements with two universities abroad to boost tourism and research

Maldives National University (MNU) has signed two agreements with international institutions to advance tourism development and academic research.

The agreements were signed on Tuesday with The Hotel School Australia–Southern Cross University and Selangor Islamic University of Malaysia.

According to the Ministry of Higher Education, the partnership with The Hotel School Australia–Southern Cross University focuses on promoting tourism education and collaboration, while the agreement with Selangor Islamic University aims to facilitate joint research efforts and student exchange programs between the two countries.

MNU Vice Chancellor Dr Aishath Shehenaz Adam signed both agreements on behalf of the university. Executive General Manager Nicholas Hyde signed on behalf of Hotel School Australia–Southern Cross University, and Vice Chancellor Dr Mohamed Farid Ravi bin Abdulla signed on behalf of Selangor Islamic University.
