Minister Haidar holds online meeting with Maldivian students in Spain

Higher Education Minister Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed has held an online meeting with Maldivian students in Spain, listening to their concerns and requests.

The ministry said that many students undertaking pilot training through government loans participated in the meeting.

"The Minister listened to the students' concerns in detail. He asserted that he would work to find workable solutions for many of their concerns," the ministry said.

Many of the Maldivian students studying in Spain are doing pilot trainings.

As per the statistics of the Transport Ministry, approximately 500 individuals were given the opportunity to pursue pilot training over the past three years. From those who have completed their training, over 200 trained pilots now remain without employment opportunities.
