251 land plots to be issued from reclaimed land in Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo

Addu City Council has announced that 251 land plots will be issued from the reclaimed land in Maradhoo and Maradhoo-Feydhoo.

In an announcement issued today, the council said that applications are now open for the 175 land plots from Maradhoo that will be issued for residential purposes. The land plots are 1,500sqft each.

Land from the reclaimed area in Maradhoo is being issued in two categories: 158 land plots to residents of Maradhoo district, and 17 land plots to residents of other districts in Addu.

The council said that 76 land plots of 1,500sqft each will be issued from Maradhoo-Feydhoo. These include 68 for Maradhoo-Feydhoo residents, and 8 land plots for residents of other Addu districts.

Applications for the land plots must be sent in before 1pm on June 24. The applications can be submitted to the relevant island councils.

Individuals who do not own State or private land in any area of Maldives, and who have not received housing under any government housing scheme are eligible to apply.
