Balcony collapses, injuring one

Part of a balcony of a house in Male' collapsed last night, injuring one person on the street.

A Police media official said that the injured is a 28 year old woman. She is receiving treatment at ADK Hospital.

Details of injuries sustained were not disclosed.

Police said that they received reports at 06:18pm yesterday that part of second floor balcony of a house in Sosun Magu had collapsed, with debris falling on the street and injuring one person.

They said that details of the incident had been shared with relevant authorities, with Police also looking into the matter further.
