Man arrested for breaking glass rack in cafe'

Police have arrested a man for breaking a glass rack in a cafe'.

The man had entered Icebreak Cafe' on Alhivilaa Magu in Male' City on Sunday morning and kicked the rack, causing it to fall and break.

The man arrested in relation to this case is Mohamed Razeen, 49, M. Star. Razeen has been arrested multiple times previously as well in relation to a number of cases.

His most recent arrest was for obstructing Police duties inside Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital. He has been arrested in drug related cases and theft, and has previously served prison time.

When taken to Court for his remand hearing, he was placed in remand in custody for a period of 15 days.

Police said that they are investigating the case further.
