A supply boat carrying five persons, which was traveling from GDh. Gahdhoo to Hulhumale' has gone missing.
A search has now been commenced to locate the vessel.
In a post on X, Police said that a boat, 'Brilliant Carrier', which left Gahdhoo at 8pm last night has been reported missing.
The boat was travelling with five persons aboard: three Maldivians and two expatriates, Police said.
As per the 'Follow Me' app used to track vessels, the boat's tracking signal went off at about 8:04pm last night, after the boat had crossed GA. Atoll.

Police said that the last contact with the boat was as 2:40am last night.
'At the time, the Captain said it hadn't been long since they passed Huvadhoo Kan'du. The boat could not be contacted after this," a message Police shared with media said.
They said that the case has now been reported to the Gahdhoo Police Station, and information shared with MNDF's Southern Region Command as well. Efforts are currently underway to locate the vessel, they said.
