The oil spillage at Rasfannu Beach has now been cleaned.
Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure announced in a post on X that the beach area has now been cleaned of the oil spillage, making it safe for swimmers.
The ministry also shared photos of Rasfannu after it was cleaned.
Earlier today, Police warned against swimming at Rasfannu Beach area due to an unexplained oil spillage. Although how the oil spill occurred is not confirmed, it is believed that it was washed up from a spillage in the ocean.
