50 lands from S. Meedhoo to be leased to businesses

Addu City Council has announced that they will be leasing land from from Addu atoll Meedhoo to businesses.

In an announcement issued today, the council said that 50 lands will be leased to registered businesses, companies and partnerships.

The lands are to be leased for:

- building swimming pools

- opening restaurants

- running shops

- running salons and spas

- exclusive Addu products

- opening coffee shops

- running wholesale and retail shops

A non-refundable registration fee of MVR 300 will be charged from applicants.

Bid acceptance and bid opening will be conducted at the Addu Council offices on May 21 at 10am, the announcement said.
