Woman who fell from building remains in ICU

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital has said that the woman who was taken there after she was discovered fallen onto the roof of an adjacent building is now receiving treatment in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit.

Police received reports of the 21 year old woman having fallen onto a roof a residence in Henveiru on last Friday morning. The woman was shifted to the hospital with the aid of MNDF's Fire and Rescue team.

An IGMH Media Official said that while she is being treated in the ICU, she is under assisted breathing with oxygen. No further details of her condition were disclosed.

Police also have not revealed as of yet which storey of the building she fell from, or any other details regarding the incident.
