Passports to be issued on Saturdays as well

Maldives Immigration has announced that passports will be issued on Saturdays as well from the three Immigration offices in the greater Male' area effective tomorrow.

In a post on social media platform X, Immigratio said that passports will be issued on Saturdays as well from their offices at Velaanaage in Male', Umar Zahir Building in Hulhumale' Phase 1 and Vinares 2 in Hulhumale' Phase 2.

Token numbers for passport issuance on Saturdays can be taken between 9am and 12pm, they said.

Passport applications can be submitted around the clock via the Imuga portal.
