Former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb has been ordered to pay a fine of MVR one million to the government within one month.
The Criminal Court had earlier sentenced Adeeb to 20 years in jail and slapped on a fine of MVR two million on seven counts of fraud in the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) case.
