ACC, EC, CSC members being dismissed due to disciplinary issues, compromised independence

Parliament's Committee on Independent Institutions has said today that some members of the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC), Elections Commission (EC), and Civil Service Commission (CSC) are being dismissed due to disciplinary issues and compromised independence.

The committee has decided to look into some issues submitted against ACC Vice President Abdul Salam, ACC member Thoha Mohamed, EC Vice President Ali Nashath, EC members Mohamed Athif and Dr Mohamed Zahir, and CSC President Mohamed Nasih.
