Velaana-ge Abdul Majeed Mahir passes away

Abdul Majeed Mahir of Velaana-ge, recognized for his invaluable service of decades to the nation, has passed away this afternoon at the age of 96.

Mahir, uncle of former Prime Minister and President of Maldives Ibrahim Nasir, led an active life and maintained a social media presence as well.
